It is very clear that quality and health are not just a passion that she harbours, but a lifestyle that she fully embraces. Her extensive background is the foundation of LeenFitness beginning from her academic pursuit in Movement Science in one of the prestigious institutions, The University of Michigan School of Kinesiology. I must mention that during her time at the university, she was not only bright in her academic pursuits but also a part of the University of Michigan Ice Hockey team where she displayed leadership and teamwork skills. Her education advancement did not stagnate as she furthered her studies at Eastern Michigan University, earning a Master of Science in Exercise Science. However, during this period, Colleen proved commitment and excellence in performance through her duties as a Strength & Conditioning Coach for varsity athletes at The University of Michigan in parallel with her studies.
The next phase in her career came with her becoming the Division One Strength & Conditioning Coach at The University of Michigan where she professionally mapped and developed the strength and conditioning plans for athletes in numerous disciplines of the University. Her teaching experience is not limited to the college level and has prepared Olympic, as well as professional athletes for their peak performances. Her engagements have embraced corporate wellness where she has developed holistically health and wellness programs for personnel in several corporations.
